These Terms of Service govern your use of AdaptLift.

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using AdaptLift, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Service description

AdaptLift is a personal gym workout tracking app. It lets you create workout plans, log workout sessions, review workout history, track progress, export workout data, and submit optional feedback.

3. No medical advice

AdaptLift is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, injury prevention advice, rehabilitation advice, or emergency services. Exercise involves risk. You are responsible for deciding whether exercises are appropriate for you and for seeking professional advice where needed.

4. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for:

using the app safely and lawfully;
entering accurate information if you choose to track workouts;
performing exercises with appropriate technique and supervision;
maintaining your own backups if needed; and
ensuring that feedback or notes you submit do not contain information you are not allowed to share.

5. Local data and backups

AdaptLift stores workout data locally on your device. The app does not provide cloud backup or account-based recovery in the reviewed public release. If you delete the app, clear app data, lose your device, or replace your device without transferring local app data, your workout data may be lost.

6. Optional feedback

If you submit feedback, you grant us permission to use that feedback to provide support, fix bugs, improve the app, and maintain records related to the feedback. Do not submit sensitive medical, financial, password, or other highly sensitive information through the feedback form.

7. External services

The app may link to external services, including Buy Me a Coffee, and may use your device sharing tools for export. We are not responsible for third-party services, payment processing, websites, content, availability, terms, or privacy practices.

8. Intellectual property

AdaptLift, including its design, code, branding, and app content, is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse-engineer the app except where allowed by applicable law.

9. Availability and changes

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the app at any time. We may also update these Terms. Continued use of the app after updates means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Disclaimer

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for injuries, health issues, lost data, lost profits, indirect damages, or other losses arising from your use of or inability to use the app.
