AdaptLift is a personal fitness tracking app. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.

1. Information stored on your device

AdaptLift stores workout data locally on your device. This may include workout plans, exercises, active and completed workout sessions, sets, reps, weights, duration, rest times, notes, progress information, app preferences, language settings, unit settings, and onboarding state.

We do not operate an account system, cloud sync, or server database for your workout history. Your workout plans and workout history are not sent to AdaptLift servers.

2. Optional feedback

If you choose to submit feedback in the app, AdaptLift sends your feedback to a Google Apps Script endpoint so it can be reviewed for support, bug reports, and product improvement.

Feedback submissions may include:

feedback type;
email address you enter;
message you enter;
app version and build number;
submission timestamp;
platform;
app language; and
device language.

Please do not include sensitive medical, financial, password, or other highly sensitive information in feedback messages.

3. Export and sharing

If you choose to export workout data, AdaptLift creates a local export file and opens your device sharing tools. You decide where to send or save that file. Third-party apps or services you choose through the share sheet may process the exported file according to their own terms and privacy policies.

4. External links

The app may include links to external services, including Buy Me a Coffee. If you open an external link, that third-party service may process information according to its own terms and privacy policy. AdaptLift does not process payments and does not collect payment card information.

5. Analytics and advertising

AdaptLift does not use third-party analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or tracking SDKs in the reviewed public release.

6. Legal basis and use of information

Locally stored workout data is used to provide the app's workout tracking features. Optional feedback information is used to respond to feedback, understand bug reports, improve app quality, prevent abuse, and maintain records related to support requests.

7. Security

Workout data stored locally is protected by your device's security controls, such as device passcode, biometrics, and device encryption where available. Feedback submissions are transmitted over HTTPS to the configured Google Apps Script endpoint.

8. Retention and deletion

Workout data remains on your device unless you delete it in the app or uninstall the app. You can clear completed workout history from Settings. Uninstalling the app removes locally stored app data from the device.

Feedback submissions may be retained for support, quality improvement, and abuse-prevention purposes. To request deletion of feedback you submitted, contact us at the address below and include the email address used in the feedback form.

9. Children's privacy

AdaptLift is not designed for children under 13 and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Health and fitness disclaimer

AdaptLift is a fitness tracking tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency services. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting or changing an exercise program, especially if you have a medical condition, injury, or health concern.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected by changing the "Last updated" date.
